JAFFA PIE SLICE


SERVES: 8 SQUARES

TIME: 20-30 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 100g almond meal

  • 150g dates, soaked in hot water

  • 50g slithered almonds

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 20g cacao powder

  • Juice of an orange

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

     

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees

  2. Place dates in a food processor and blitz until smooth (you may need to add some water to get a smooth texture)

  3. Add almond meal, protein powder, vanilla and cacao powder and blend until smooth

  4. Place mixture into bowl, add almonds and orange juice and mix thoroughly

  5. Pour mixture into a lined tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through

  6. Let cool before cutting into portions
