JAFFA PIE SLICE
SERVES: 8 SQUARES
TIME: 20-30 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS
100g almond meal
150g dates, soaked in hot water
50g slithered almonds
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
20g cacao powder
Juice of an orange
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 180 degrees
Place dates in a food processor and blitz until smooth (you may need to add some water to get a smooth texture)
Add almond meal, protein powder, vanilla and cacao powder and blend until smooth
Place mixture into bowl, add almonds and orange juice and mix thoroughly
Pour mixture into a lined tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through
Let cool before cutting into portions
