CARAMEL SLICE


SERVES: 8 SQUARES

TIME: 30 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

Base layer:

  • 50g oats

  • 30g desiccated coconut

  • 20g cacao powder

  • 30g coconut oil melted

  • 2 tablespoon sugar free hot chocolate

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Caramel layer:

  • 50g pitted dates, soaked in hot water

  • 50g cashews, soaked in hot water

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Chocolate layer:

  • 15g coconut oil, melted

  • 20g sugar free hot chocolate

  • 2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a food processor, blitz all base ingredients until smooth

  2. Press into base of a lined tray and place in freezer for 5-10 minutes

  3. Place caramel layer ingredients into food processor and blitz until smooth. Slowly add small increments of water if needed

  4. Spread caramel over base layer in tray and place back into freezer until set

  5. In a bowl, mix all chocolate layer ingredients

  6. Spread over caramel layer and place back in freezer until set

  7. Once set, cut into squares
