MARS BAR SLICE
SERVES: 12 SQUARES
TIME: 30-40 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS
Nougat Base:
80g almond meal
40g tahini
3 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup
30g oats
15g coconut oil, melted
Teaspoon vanilla essence
Caramel Filling:
80g dates, soaked in hot water
30g tahini
2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup
Chocolate Topping:
20g tahini
15g coconut oil, melted
2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup
20g sugar free hot chocolate
DIRECTIONS
Place all nougat base ingredients into a food processor and blitz until smooth
In a lined tray, press picture into base and place in freezer for 10-15 minutes or until hardened
Place all caramel filling ingredients into a food processor and blitz until smooth
Smooth on top of base in tray and place back into freezer for another 10-15 minutes or until set
In a bowl, mix together all chocolate topping ingredients until smooth
Spread evenly over caramel filling in tray then place back into freezer for another 10-15 minutes or until set
Once set, cut into portion sizeS
