MARS BAR SLICE


SERVES: 12 SQUARES

TIME: 30-40 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

Nougat Base:

  • 80g almond meal

  • 40g tahini

  • 3 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

  • 30g oats

  • 15g coconut oil, melted

  • Teaspoon vanilla essence

Caramel Filling:

  • 80g dates, soaked in hot water

  • 30g tahini

  • 2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

Chocolate Topping:

  • 20g tahini

  • 15g coconut oil, melted

  • 2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

  • 20g sugar free hot chocolate

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all nougat base ingredients into a food processor and blitz until smooth

  2. In a lined tray, press picture into base and place in freezer for 10-15 minutes or until hardened

  3. Place all caramel filling ingredients into a food processor and blitz until smooth

  4. Smooth on top of base in tray and place back into freezer for another 10-15 minutes or until set

  5. In a bowl, mix together all chocolate topping ingredients until smooth

  6. Spread evenly over caramel filling in tray then place back into freezer for another 10-15 minutes or until set

  7. Once set, cut into portion sizeS
