RED VELVET SLICE


SERVES: 8 SQUARES

TIME: 20-30 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

Base:

  • 40g almond meal

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 20g coconut flour

  • 20g cacao powder

  • 2 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

  • 100ml unsweetened almond milk

  • 15g coconut oil, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon red food colouring

Chocolate layer:

  • 10g tahini

  • 15g coconut oil, melted

  • 10g sugar free hot chocolate 

  • 1 tablespoon sugar free maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, mix all base ingredients

  2. Line a container and press down mixture with back of spoon into base of tray

  3. Place in freezer for 15-20 minutes or until set

  4. Mix all chocolate layer ingredients together 

  5. Smooth chocolate topping over base layer

  6. Place back in freezer for another 5-10 minutes or until set

  7. Cut into pieces
